MOUNT PLEASANT, SC

Where Charleston Charm Meets Mediterranean Flavor

Located in the heart of Mount Pleasant at The Bend in Carolina Park, Lola Rose is the latest culinary venture by chef Kevin Johnson and his wife Susan. Designed to be a neighborhood gathering place, the restaurant blends Mediterranean coastal cuisine with the warmth and charm of Charleston’s artistic spirit.

PMC partnered with David Thompson Studio to curate furnishings that reinforce the space’s relaxed elegance. From the lively bar to the open kitchen dining area and covered patio, each furniture piece was selected to reflect the restaurant’s casual sophistication and coastal influences.

The design layers thoughtful material choices with local artistry, including a custom stamped concrete floor by artist Suzanne Allen and a statement mirror by Bob Hines of Hines Studio. PMC’s furniture selections complement these features, integrating textures and tones that bring cohesion and comfort to every corner of the restaurant.

With indoor and outdoor furnishings designed for year-round use, the result is an inviting, flexible environment where guests can gather, dine, and connect. At Lola Rose, the interiors are as memorable as the menu—an experience grounded in community, craft, and care.
